What's it like being a fan of the Patriots?

People don't like a winner unless it's their team. They prefer that everyone takes turns winning and plays nice, like in today's schoolyard. The Patriots do not play nice; they crush you. Some people even deride the Patriots for being a “white” team, whatever that is supposed to mean. read more

I think the new generation of fans are like, 'We won the Super Bowl. Yeah, we do that a lot. That's what Belichick and Brady do.''' Still, it's strange. Those outside of New England don't hate the Red Sox or Celtics or Bruins like they do the Patriots even though those other Boston teams have had plenty of success with the same fan base. read more
