Edmonton is a 'Festival City' because it hosts the largest Fringe Festival (live theatre) in North America, the largest blues Festival in Western Canada, and FolkFest, a large folk music festival, all outdoors in the summer. read more
Having lived in Edmonton until the age of 15, and leaving it to live in rural alberta, Los Angeles, Vancouver and London, England, I am now considering coming back to live close to family. read more
We moved to Upper Edmonton(just north of white hart lane/A10) 18 months ago. Much lower house prices! There is much to like, esp if you tour round the suburban back streets, many of which are traffic free 1930s housing. We live in a small close with settled familes and a world away from transient Turnpike Lane. read more
