Best Answer: For starters, Mexican originated in Mexico. Their food includes, tortillas, beans, and cheese because these foods are what they can make or grow there. Italian food is from Italy, alot of Italian food is made from tomato, or includes tomato sauces and most dishes has some form of pasta. read more

Mexican food is faster to make, but Italian has a touch of gourmet to it. At least in my eyes, I prefer Italian. The variation of sauces utilized and the mixture with different pastas is always different and great tasting. read more
