Fallout 4 is ugly in every way possible. Horrible textures, flat out bad lighting/shading, very low resolution geometry, and everything has this weird blur to it. It's really bad. read more
That somehow if they had a "new engine", their graphics would magically be better. The Fallout 4 Creation Engine is no more "the same engine" it was for Skyrim than Unreal 3 is the same as Unreal 4. The reality is that game engines are constantly evolving, but rarely reinvented. read more
