When can kittens be wormed?

Puppies and kittens should be routinely dewormed beginning at 2 weeks of age, with deworming repeated every 2 weeks, until the animals are placed on a monthly control product with efficacy against ascarids at 4 to 8 weeks of age. read more

Kittens 6 to 16 weeks of age should be de-wormed every three weeks. From 4 months onward cats and kittens should be de-wormed every 3 months. read more

We recommend that kittens are wormed every month until they are six months old, then every three months after that. Ask about worming treatments when you bring your kitten for its first course of vaccinations. That way we can make sure it’s protected nice and early. read more
