There's a huge focus on shock humor and ugly, gory, gross stuff now, like nails getting ripped off or people turning inside out. SpongeBob stopped relying on clever jokes and instead focused on being gross. Most people agree it went to shit after the movie. I think it got bad around 2seasons after the movie though. read more

Spongebob has basically become the mascot of Nick. Its the only show on there that they air for more than 16 hours a day. I hope that they stop spongebob soon. I mean its almost as old as me and I've grown up with it! but I don't want spongebob to still be airing new episodes when I'm 80. read more
