The most you could get for free, is possibly a 14 day free trial if you've never had playstation plus before, or I believe a 2 day free trial for a new account. They're pretty much for like trial subscriptions like Play before you buy games and etc. read more

If you are on PlayStation 4, you can go to PS Plus, the golden plus. It should be in the upper menu bar on the home screen, above where you would find your games. When you are there, you can sign up and there should be an option for a free trial. read more
