Vitamin K is not an antidote to all forms of rat or mouse bait { but more of this below } but if you are dealing with a form of rat or mouse poison which does respond to vitamin K then the dose can range from between 1 to 3 mg per pound of your dog's bodyweight divided into 2-3 doses a day given for for 2-3 weeks. read more

The problem with over the counter Vitamin K is that is comes in 100 mcg. So it would take 10 capsules of this to equal 1 mg of Vitamin K. So to get to the dose he would need even if you give it once daily which also would work would be around 400 capsules of the over the counter strength. Which is not practical. read more
