In 1909 the Wright brothers formed the American Wright Company, with Wilbur taking the lead in setting up and directing the business. His death in Dayton on May 30, 1912, left Orville feeling depressed and alone. read more
With the Jan. 8, 2012 grand opening of our new building, Wright Brothers PreK-8 School became the 26th and final new school opened as part of the Dayton Public Schools new construction program. It officially became a middle school starting with the 2016-17 school year after a district reconfiguration. read more
