The hen will scrape out a hollow in a protected area, like under a bush, an overhang, a hollow under a deadfall, and will line it with fine twigs, roots, moss, feathers, and that sort of thing, and then will lay around 10 or so eggs, depending on weather, food supply, and her own health. read more
