The players I would rank ahead of Garnett are Russell, Bird, Hondo, Cousy and McHale. Garnett might rank as the 6th greatest Celtic. But there would be a lot of argument. Garnett is slightly better career-wise than McHale, although McHale has a longer history with Boston. It is not easy to compare Garnett with great players at other positions. read more
