Different breeds of quail can be set at different costs. E.g. Coturnix quail can be sold for more money because they lay bigger eggs and have more meat on them whilst button quail have little meat on them and their eggs are too small to be eaten. read more
Quail are common in forests and are easily caught as they can't fly. They eats grubs and worms along with veg from the forest floor. This plus the pine forest enviroment makes wild irish quail delicious. Not as gamy as other wild birds but still a good kick to it. My misses loves kwek-kwek. Battered quail eggs. read more
