Scarborough is a very large area with pleasant neighborhoods. It also has some interesting attractions- including the Toronto zoo. However I do agree that there are better places to stay in the city for visitors. I really like the Bloor West Village/High Park area if you are looking to be outside of the downtown. read more

West on Bloor St from the Bloor/Yorkville subway interchange, is Toronto’s ‘Mink Mile’, where the rich and famous shop and dine. Further west you’ll also find one of Toronto’s best attractions, the Royal Ontario Museum. read more
