they are pretty close to same. chose by cost effectiveness, and what the baby likes you may have to change to different variations of the brand (like sensitive). one is not structurally "better", but some babies do better on different brands, just because of different additives etc. i chose similac for the simple reason that i recieved a bunch of coupons for it, but both similac and enfamil have generic versions that are available and comparable. read more
