Which city do you prefer, Toronto or Calgary?

They are very different cities. I think anyone that loves one city would dislike living in the other. I personally prefer Toronto. Toronto is a very walkable city… at least the downtown area. read more

Difficult question to answer, because they are two very different cities with different vibes. Personally, I prefer Toronto, simply because I like the Victorian and Georgian architecture, the fact that you can get around to most places with the subway, the excellent museums, the history, the pubs and the world-class restaurants. read more

However, you will not find the culture that is available in a larger city like Toronto, and it is a long way to anywhere else if you are driving, from Calgary. I have lived in both cities and because I love the mountains I would have to say I prefer Calgary. read more

Calgary is probably more diverse, but the immigrants are coming over to Alberta and Saskatchewan in big droves in the wake of a recovery, so maybe you should keep your eyes open. Education is only good as the students supporting each other, I didn't have a positive high school experience due to it. read more

You get better pay in Calgary for most jobs compared to Toronto. Toronto is still the biggest city in Canada and if you're looking for entertainment and nightlife, then move to Toronto. You will find Toronto's public transportation system very poor and out of date though. Calgary's weather is more of a problem compared to Toronto. read more
