I've lived in New Orleans since 1984 and my wife's family is from Detroit and lives there. Nothing to compare. Detroit is post apocalyptic. There's entire abandoned neighborhoods, rows after rows of empty houses. A full one fifth of Detroit real estate is empty, not to mention the empty lots. read more
