Sorry to all Tucson residents (really, I don't hate you), but I would go for Phoenix over Tucson every time. The Valley of the Sun just has more to offer. It's a conglomeration of 6+ cities and each city has it's advantages and disadvantages. read more
When it comes to the variety of activities and job employment opportunities Phoenix wins hands down. However, Tucson offers better weather and food. The weather is not as hot as Phoenix due to its higher altitude and the local cuisine is amazing. Also, the mountain surrounding the city is beautiful as well. read more
Tucson is a big city that tries to act like a small town. Many businesses are closed by 8pm or 9pm, the roads are narrow and rough, and some people think they know everyone in"town". I grew up in Phoenix. read more
