IMHO, JSBach wrote the most fabulous music I have ever heard. To an untrained ear, some of his pieces might have appeared to be morose. My opinion in response to this would be that the people who played Bach in a morose manner were playing him with a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT interpretation than the one that he intended. read more
