I graduated from UF, and my son is a senior at FSU. I think UF is slightly more challenging academically, but undergrads are treated better at FSU. UF is first a research school, secondly a graduate school, and then the undergrads are there to pay for everything. At FSU there is a genuine effort to help and support undergrads. read more
Florida State was not my top choice, I applied on a whim because I liked some of the programs offered (like the exploratory major option). I had never visited the campus and had only seen a few pictures. I did get into my top school but decided it was to expensive to go out of state narrowing it down to UF and FSU. read more
People should attend the University of Florida because it is a very prestigious school in many areas, especially in math and science. Also, the University of Florida has one of the best sports atmospheres in the country. Finally, students should attend the University of Florida because there are many opportunities for internships and research. read more
