Although Nike make some great shoes, in my opinion (as a marathon runner and triathlete) you are best to go for a specialist running shoe company (saucony, asics, New balance, altra etc). My personal favourite running shoes are merrell, but they are for people more adapted to a 'barefoot'/ zero drop running style. read more
They both make a good shoe. What matters most is which company's last (the master foot form for your size shoe) produces the better fitting shoe. I fit Saucony better than New Balance or Nike. read more
