Grain sorghum is the more general name, milo is from the Sesotho maili. Milo seems to refer to a drought-tolerant sorghum. Sorghum is a cereal grain. It's an important staple crop, and is widely used as livestock feed. It performs well on poor ground that is not amenable to other cereal grains. read more
