It helped that his employer was Google – and that Google HQ in Mountain View, California is one of the most progressive and all-round awesome places that you can work at in the world. Not impressed: Google's co-founder Larry Page (pictured) scrapped the initial design for a £1billion London headquarters, and ordered the team to come up with a more ‘Googley’ building In the meantime, most staff are making do with its Covent Garden offices which feature allotments, a dance studio, rocking chairs, acoustic airlocks and a padded cell for meetings. read more
