Use the spray on towel-dried hair. Too wet of hair can fall or bend too quickly. Dry hair will have a porcupine effect, but towel-dried hair will have flexibility & a better over all look. read more

I have shoulder length fine and thin hair and gel doesn't give me the soft, touchable feel compared to say - mousse. I admit, I do use a spray gel, but only at the roots to give my hair more volume. I've tried a gel recently, I think it's called SAMY curling gel. It's supposed to give you "great curls". Only it doesn't. read more

GEL: for very very thick, very straight, overly spiky, or over curly hair. It is stronger then wax and helps with control. Keep hair short to avoid a greasy ball look. Gel creates more of a wet look.
