Which is best, 4 GB RAM or 6 GB RAM?

So obviously 6GB is better, be it DDR4 or DDR3. So 6 GB DDR3 is better than 4 GB DDR3. But apart from that DDR4 RAM for computing isn't very much advanced till date. But back when I upgraded a desktop in like, 2004, I was under the impression when one is replacing RAM you are to fill your slots with equal capacity RAM (so, for 8 gigs you want 4 and 4, not 6 (if that exists) and 2). read more
