Buried within this statistic is that the models 100/200/300 had a fatal crash rate of 1.02/mf, compared to the 747-400 fatal crash rate of .06/mf. The 400 model is far safer than the first three 747 models. The A380 has a fatal crash rate of 0.00 so far for all flights. read more
