OK, as someone who works among raptors, I have to say that an eagle will NEVER BE A PET. The term “pet” simply doesn't apply. A “pet” is a domesticated animal meant for human companionship. Eagles can not nor should they be domesticated, but they can be tamed. read more
That qualifier aside speaking as a long time reptile owner I would not recommend you get a monkey or an eagle, stick to a cat or dog If your determined to get an exotic pet get a ball python or a corn snake. read more
Best Answer: Good question! I have 5 pet monkeys. I have a Spider Monkey, 2 Capuchins, and 2 Squirrel Monkeys. I would have to say that my female Capuchin Monkey makes the best in-home companion. And I don't know why people say monkeys do not make good pets, because they really do. read more
