Which of the Ford Escape models has rear wheel drive?

I'm afraid you may be out of luck. The base Escape is FWD. The first generation offered a 4WD option. The second generation (and later?) offer AWD- a minor distinction, but not quite the same. But it seems not possible to get one exclusively RWD. read more
