Which strip comic is better, Calvin and Hobbes or The peanuts?

While different audiences may like each strip for personal and subjective reasons, Calvin and Hobbes is objectively better for two reasons (at least): Exploration of form and narrative structure Bill Watterson constantly tried to the take the comic form to higher levels with the constraints of newspaper editors. read more

Calvin & Hobbes by far. I’m personally not certain what the appeal to Peanuts is besides just pure nostalgia. Objectively, it’s not funny, it doesn’t make you feel good to read it, and oftentimes it’s just a whiny and sometimes straight-up tragic comic strip. read more
