I went to UMass Amherst but the answer depends on what degree for under grad, what degree for masters or what for PhD. UMass Amherst is well known for its chemical engineering undergraduate program and business school. While polymers is it's too graduate program and bio, chemical, PhD. UMass Amherst (Top 20 for CS) is also really good for CS. But don't consider it unless you are interested in Artificial Intelligence - if you are, then definitely go for UMass. It is ranked in the top 10 for AI and has a really good AI department. Virginia Tech (top 40) is good, but the others are way better. read more
