When they are split they are Brahma, Vishnu, Shankar. When they are merged they are Parampurush (formless male supreme-spirit). When they are split they are Saraswati, Lakshmi, Shakti. The vedas have the concept of Para brahma, and also that it is formless. It is stated at many a places. Even the various other deities or the Gods, as per the vedas, are stated in such a complicated way, that one cannot think of the same as having form. Para Brahman is the "Highest Brahman" that which is beyond all descriptions and conceptualisations. It is described in Hindu texts as the formless spirit that eternally pervades everything, everywhere in the universe and whatever is beyond. Hindus conceptualize the Para Brahman in diverse ways.
