The Nephilim are a group of nefarious characters mentioned several times in the Torah. Genesis 6: 4 says: There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. read more

The Nephilim are mentioned twice in the Torah (Genesis 6, Numbers 13). "Nephilim" means "the fallen ones.". They were people of giant stature. It is not clear how large they were, but were large enough to scare other people. read more
