Who can adopt whom in Iran Tehran?

The article sixth of the law of protecting unprotected children states that adopting parent(s) should believe in one of the religions stipulated in the Constitution. It also says that it is necessary to preserve the religious commonality of adopting parents and the child. read more

The adoption law used to be about children "protected" by Behzisti Organization, whose parents and relatives are not known. However in a new bill suggested by government to Majlis, the kids subjected to "bad parenting" who also are protected by Behzisti, can be adopted by applicant families, too. read more

As far as I am concerned, This is done under control of an organization called State Welfare Organization of Iran (called Behzishti, literally translates to Better-living) which actually is a governmental organization in Iran, to the best of my knowledge. read more
