When comparing Welles and Hitchcock, I think that who is better depends on your definition of “better”. If “better” means more popular, Alfred Hitchcock is better. Probably the best director of thrillers, ever. Psycho, North by Northwest, Vertigo, (just to name a few) became instant classics and are still recognizable today. read more
