Nefertiti was the queen consort of the Pharaoh Amenhotep IV/Akhenaten. Akhenaten reigned in the 18th Dynasty (between 1570–1292 BC). Nefertari, by contrast, was the queen consort of Ramesses II; who reigned in the 19th Dynasty (1292–1189 BC). Nefertiti was older by about 70 years. read more
Nefertari, also known as Nefertari Meritmut, was an Egyptian queen and the first of the Great Royal Wives (or principal wives) of Ramesses the Great.
