There is no better answer to this question. The Louvre does not house Impressionist paintings. The best collection of Impressionist work you can see in one place is, interestingly, the Art Institute of Chicago in America. The Musee d’orsay in Paris is wonderful, but the Impressionist galleries are limited in size. read more
