Who was better, Stalin or Lenin?

The major difference between Lenin and Stalin is that Stalin was willing to expand the nature and scope of the terror used to consolidate his and the party's power, while Lenin was not. Lenin was an idealist, Stalin was a realist. Lenin charisma and promise of peace land and bread during ww1 drew supporters including millions of peasants and young officers in the Czars army (including Takhahevsky). But his application of Marxism was too fast and too soon. read more
