I believe it was Sheikh Al Mamoun, in the 12th century. Looking for treasure. He probably din’t find any, because the interior of the Great Pyramid is devoid of any Egyptian art etc., so not used as a burial chamber. Pharaohs were buried in the Valley of the Kings. Maybe the Great Pyramid was not built by the Egyptians, but pre-dates them. read more
