Who wins the fight of a pack of 8 wolves vs one grizzly bear?

It won’t happen, because the grizzly will RUN when confronted by pack of 8 wolves. Carnivorous only fight when absolutely necessary, ie dominance, mating rights, to a lesser degree food. Priority number 1 for carnivorous is AVOID injury, they can’t hunt when injured, thus weaken and starvation. read more

Well, assuming this is a Grizzly male, and this is a grey wolf pack and the bear is pissed, I say it takes somewhere between 10-20 wolves. Bear hide is durable as hell, and the maneuvering space for the wolves is going to be dramatically reduced due to it being at a cave. read more
