An African lion, fairly easily, I think. The wolverine could try to latch onto the lion’s throat and try to choke it to death, but this would only conceivably work with females and younger males. read more
The wolverine will be the more aggressive one but he won’t have much chance of killing the lion as the lion can run faster. So, if the lion is about to lose, he will flee and find some other prey. But as the mountain lion is faster, it could try and grab the wolverine in the neck for a killing blow. read more
