Who would win in a battle between Dumbledore and Gandalf?

They both have about the same amount of battle experience. Dumbledore might win at a distance, because I feel like he has faster reflexes. Yoda is far more athletic than Dumbledore, and is far better at close combat. If Yoda is able to close the gap he will win. However, Dumbledore can apparate. read more

If Gandalf burminates Dumbledore's wand (which he can pretty much do with a handwave), he pretty much wins. If Dumbledore does any of a large number of things that could theoretically ruin Gandalf's day, he pretty much wins. So, essentially, this is a matter of who hits first. read more
