Who would win, Zorro or Inigo Montoya?

One of the things not mentioned in the film, but mentioned in the book, is that Montoya is one of the greatest swordsmen on the planet. Zorro is a skilled fighter, a very good one in fact, but he has spread his time over several skills including gunplay that Montoya never did. Montoya can fight afoot, on horse, vs multiple opponents, vs various weapons, and with all bladed weapons including daggers, arming swords, & longswords. read more

Inigo Montoya is a wizard level swordsman, whereas Zorro while an excellent fighter mostly deal with people who aren't at that high of a level of duelers. Honestly Inigo through sheer technical ability should be able to hold off people many times his strength, much like Murtagh did vs Eragon. read more

If fighting to the death, Zorro 7/10, although technically I think Zorro would lose a fight to the death against Inigo (on account of the fact that he might just end up mostly dead). Round 2: This one feels like it goes to Zorro, 7-8/10 times. read more
