Who's faster (not stamina-wise), a carnotaurus or a cheetah?

Almost certainly the Cheetah. I´m maybe close to 99% certain the Cheetah would be faster than a Carnotaurus at short distances. It would be destroyed in a marathon, though! Carnotaurus did not hunt gazelles. It probably hunted relatively larger, slower prey. Still faster than what other theropods hunted, but not gazelle-fast. The published speed estimates for Carnotaurus are 48 to 56 km/h, a little over half that of a Cheetah. read more
