Why are Beagle/Pointer mix considered great hunting dogs?

I wasn’t aware that they were considered great hunting dogs. I’ve had beagles for rabbit hunting, and heard of beagle/blue tick mixes for coyote hunting, but this particular mix isn’t even on my radar. read more
