Think Corvette, Camaro, TR-7, etc. People were buying the seat designs of the race cars. Firmer, more support. Just think of popular TV show picture cars of each decade and what their seat designs were. We're now in an age where HANS Devices, 5 point racing harnesses, side bolstering, etc are almost household names. Customer. Demand. read more

I remember plush, even pillow-top seats that felt like a couch. Now you gotta buy extra cushion for your car seats. read more

Sporty and/or supportive seats don't necessarily have to be rock hard. Infiniti for example, is another car maker that has great seats, which are both comfortable and don't let you slip away from them on tight bends. But it doesn't have to be a premium manufacturer. read more
