A gargoyle is a rainspout. It can have a figure with it or not. The word, “gargle,” is related to the word gargoyle. The figures you’re referring to are technically known as Grimoire. They’re purely architectural motifs and not related to demons, as far as I know. I’ll keep it that way. read more
