Why are L and R written on earphones?

Why (R) and (L) is written on headphones! If this means Right and Left, then are wrong. You would have heard many songs and watched movies on your mobiles using headphones to listen the audio. read more

The 'L' stands for 'Left' and the 'R' stands for 'Right'. In your case, the shape of your ear buds are probably different to fit more comfortably in your ears. Also, they sometimes do this because there are certain sounds that only come through one side of the headphones, and these things are recorded/created with defined sides. read more
