People out there have a lot of funny ideas about quiet people, the worst one being that all quiet people are alike. Some people truly believe quiet people are quiet because they’re up to no good or hiding something. I’d call that textbook discrimination. Low self esteem can produce the paranoid belief that quiet people might be smarter, more knowledgeable and/or more competent than the rest of us. read more
