The heat generated is usually not all that hot, so it's hard to re-use in a meaningful manner. And while colder climates are reasonably effective, the gain is pretty modest. A supercomputer will spend about $1 million/MW-year, and about 10% of that on AC, so even if the AC is free, a 5MW system would save 500k max.. read more
