This may be the best indication that sea level is rising and Maldives is slowly sinking. Some argues the impact of beach erosion is the result of humans civilisation - people alter natural formation of land by making ports, jetties for access. read more

Global warming is an urgent problem that needs to be remedied immediately. I don’t know what will happen to the Maldives in the future, but the prospect looks dim. Hopefully, countries will take drastic measures to prevent climate change from sinking the Maldives. In the end, we don’t want an Atlantis: The Lost Empire to come to life. read more
