There has been a large stray cat population in just about every Mediterranean country I've been to. For the record, I've been to Greece, Turkey, Albania, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Morocco. I think Mediterranean people really love cats and prefer to let them roam free as opposed to cooped up in a house. read more
